Focus : Archived Weather Data

FAWN has been collecting data from most of its observing sites since 1998. Data, both past and present, can be retrieved from the FAWN website using several methods. The Report Generator produces a data report in either HTML table or Excel format; Graphic Weather Data generates a line-graph of one or more parameters from a selected station; and Latest Observations shows the most recent data from all (default), or selected sites. Below are details on how to use FAWN's data retrieval tools, all of which can be accessed by selecting Database in the green menu bar

Archived Weather Data

Report Generator - Using the Report Generator, users can access summaries of data from all FAWN sites including hourly, daily, and monthly averages, as well as 15- minute observations for temperature, relative humidity, rainfall amount, wind direction and speed, solar radiation, dew-point temperature, and more. Averages over an entire period of interest can be obtained as well.

Preset date ranges are available in three days, seven days, fourteen days, and thirty days, but can also be set by the user.

A table showing each 15-minute time and corresponding data value is displayed as well.
