For more than 50 years, the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association has represented growers, packers and shippers of citrus, vegetables and other crops. FFVA is nationally recognized as a leading industry advocate in fields such as farm labor, crop protection, international trade, media relations, government relations and marketing. FFVA provides leadership and support for community and nutrition programs, such as the Redlands Christian Migrant Association and the Produce for Better Health 5 A Day program.
Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association is one of the founding members of the Agricultural Weather Task Force and has been a driving force in the establishment of FAWN. Thanks to the hard work of Mike Stuart and the entire staff, funding for the establishment of weather towers and maintenance equipment was obtained from the state legislature.
